Community Trigger

You can use this form to request an antisocial behaviour case review - called a Community Trigger.

It can be used in the following circumstances:

  • You have complained 3 times in the last 6 months about separate incidents.
  • 5 people in the local community have complained separately in the last 6 months about similar incidents.

Your complaints may have been made to Rochdale Borough Council, Greater Manchester Police or a Registered Housing Provider (social landlord).

Before you start

If you have complained 3 times in the last 6 months about separate incidents, you'll need to have the following information available before starting:

  • Date each incident happened
  • Who you reported each incident to, either the council, the police or a social landlord
  • The incident reference number for your reports, or the names of the people you reported it to
  • A description of the incidents
  • A description of the response you received after reporting each incident

If 5 people in the local community have complained separately in the last 6 months about similar incidents, you'll need to have the following information available before starting:

  • The name, address, phone number and email address of all 5 people who have complained
  • A description of the incidents
  • A description of the response you received after reporting the incidents

You will have 10 minutes to complete each page of this form.
